- Exodus 36:8
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ כׇל־חֲכַם־לֵב בְּעֹשֵׂי הַמְּלָאכָה אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּן עֶשֶׂר יְרִיעֹת שֵׁשׁ מׇשְׁזָר וּתְכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי כְּרֻבִים מַעֲשֵׂה חֹשֵׁב עָשָׂה אֹתָם׃
Then all the skilled among those engaged in the work made the tabernacle of ten strips of cloth, which they made of fine twisted linen, blue, purple, and crimson yarns; into these they worked a design of cherubim.
Targum Onkelos
וַעֲבַדוּ כָל חַכִּימֵי לִבָּא בְּעָבְדֵי עֲבִידְתָא יָת מַשְׁכְּנָא עֲשַׂר יְרִיעָן דְּבוּץ שְׁזִיר וְתַכְלָא וְאַרְגְּוָנָא וּצְבַע זְהוֹרִי צוּרַת כְּרוּבִין עוֹבָד אוּמָּן עֲבַד יָתְהוֹן׃
All craftsmen with the spirit of wisdom made the mishkon out of ten drapes, (consisting of) twined fine linen, greenish blue wool, dark red wool and crimson [colored] wool, figures of Cherubim, the work of a craftsman.

אֹרֶךְ הַיְרִיעָה הָאַחַת שְׁמֹנֶה וְעֶשְׂרִים בָּאַמָּה וְרֹחַב אַרְבַּע בָּאַמָּה הַיְרִיעָה הָאֶחָת מִדָּה אַחַת לְכׇל־הַיְרִיעֹת׃
The length of each cloth was twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each cloth was four cubits, all cloths having the same measurements.
Targum Onkelos
אוּרְכָּא דִּירִיעֲתָא חֲדָא עֶשְׂרִין וְתַמְנֵי אַמִּין וּפוּתְיָא אַרְבַּע אַמִּין דִּירִיעֲתָא חֲדָא מִשְׁחֲתָא חֲדָא לְכָל יְרִיעָתָא׃
The length of each drape was twenty eight amohs, and each drape was four amohs wide. All drapes had the same measure.
- Exodus 36:10
וַיְחַבֵּר אֶת־חֲמֵשׁ הַיְרִיעֹת אַחַת אֶל־אֶחָת וְחָמֵשׁ יְרִיעֹת חִבַּר אַחַת אֶל־אֶחָת׃
They joined five of the cloths to one another, and they joined the other five cloths to one another.
Targum Onkelos
וְלָפֵיף יָת חֲמֵישׁ יְרִיעָן חֲדָא עִם חֲדָא וַחֲמֵישׁ יְרִיעָן לָפֵיף חֲדָא עִם חֲדָא׃
He joined (sewed) five of these drapes together, and the other five drapes he joined (sewed) together.
- Exodus 36:11
וַיַּעַשׂ לֻלְאֹת תְּכֵלֶת עַל שְׂפַת הַיְרִיעָה הָאֶחָת מִקָּצָה בַּמַּחְבָּרֶת כֵּן עָשָׂה בִּשְׂפַת הַיְרִיעָה הַקִּיצוֹנָה בַּמַּחְבֶּרֶת הַשֵּׁנִית׃
They made loops of blue wool on the edge of the outermost cloth of the one set, and did the same on the edge of the outermost cloth of the other set:
Targum Onkelos
וַעֲבַד עֲנוּבִּין דְּתַכְלָא עַל סִפְתָּא דִּירִיעֲתָא חֲדָא מִסִּטְרָא בֵּית לוֹפֵי כֵּן עֲבַד בְּסִפְתָּא דִּירִיעֲתָא בְּסִטְרָא בֵּית לוֹפִי תִּנְיָנָא׃
He made loops of greenish blue wool on the edge of the drape which was at the (innermost) end of the (first) group. He did the same on the edge of the drape which was the innermost end of the second group.
- Exodus 36:12
חֲמִשִּׁים לֻלָאֹת עָשָׂה בַּיְרִיעָה הָאֶחָת וַחֲמִשִּׁים לֻלָאֹת עָשָׂה בִּקְצֵה הַיְרִיעָה אֲשֶׁר בַּמַּחְבֶּרֶת הַשֵּׁנִית מַקְבִּילֹת הַלֻּלָאֹת אַחַת אֶל־אֶחָת׃
they made fifty loops on the one cloth, and they made fifty loops on the edge of the end cloth of the other set, the loops being opposite one another.
Targum Onkelos
חַמְשִׁין עֲנוּבִּין עֲבַד בִּירִיעֲתָא חֲדָא וְחַמְשִׁין עֲנוּבִּין עֲבַד בְּסִטְרָא דִּירִיעֲתָא דְּבֵית לוֹפֵי תִּנְיָנָא מַכְוְנָן עֲנוּבַּיָּא חֲדָא לָקֳבֵיל חֲדָא׃
He made fifty loops on (the edge of) one drape and he made fifty loops on the edge of the drape which was on the second group. The loops were opposite one another.
- Exodus 36:13
וַיַּעַשׂ חֲמִשִּׁים קַרְסֵי זָהָב וַיְחַבֵּר אֶת־הַיְרִיעֹת אַחַת אֶל־אַחַת בַּקְּרָסִים וַיְהִי הַמִּשְׁכָּן אֶחָד׃
And they made fifty gold clasps and coupled the units to one another with the clasps, so that the tabernacle became one whole.
Targum Onkelos
וַעֲבַד חַמְשִׁין פּוּרְפִין דִּדְהַב וְלָפֵיף יָת יְרִיעָתָא חֲדָא עִם חֲדָא בְּפוּרְפַיָּא וַהֲוָה מַשְׁכְּנָא חַד׃
He made fifty golden clasps and he joined the drapes (of each group) together with the clasps. The mishkon was thus one unit.
- Exodus 36:14
וַיַּעַשׂ יְרִיעֹת עִזִּים לְאֹהֶל עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּן עַשְׁתֵּי־עֶשְׂרֵה יְרִיעֹת עָשָׂה אֹתָם׃
They made cloths of goats’ hair for a tent over the tabernacle; they made the cloths eleven in number.
Targum Onkelos
וַעֲבַד יְרִיעָן דְּמַעְזֵי לִפְרָסָא עַל מַשְׁכְּנָא חֲדָא עֶשְׂרֵי יְרִיעָן עֲבַד יָתְהוֹן׃
He made drapes of goats’ hair for a covering over the mishkon. He made eleven such drapes.
- Exodus 36:15
אֹרֶךְ הַיְרִיעָה הָאַחַת שְׁלֹשִׁים בָּאַמָּה וְאַרְבַּע אַמּוֹת רֹחַב הַיְרִיעָה הָאֶחָת מִדָּה אַחַת לְעַשְׁתֵּי עֶשְׂרֵה יְרִיעֹת׃
The length of each cloth was thirty cubits, and the width of each cloth was four cubits, the eleven cloths having the same measurements.
Targum Onkelos
אוּרְכָּא דִּירִיעֲתָא חֲדָא תְּלָתִין אַמִּין וְאַרְבַּע אַמִּין פּוּתְיָא דִּירִיעֲתָא חֲדָא מִשְׁחֲתָא חֲדָא לַחֲדָא עֶשְׂרֵי יְרִיעָן׃
The length of each drape was thirty amohs, and the width of each drape was four amohs. The eleven drapes were of the same measure.
- Exodus 36:16
וַיְחַבֵּר אֶת־חֲמֵשׁ הַיְרִיעֹת לְבָד וְאֶת־שֵׁשׁ הַיְרִיעֹת לְבָד׃
They joined five of the cloths by themselves, and the other six cloths by themselves.
Targum Onkelos
וְלָפֵיף יָת חֲמֵישׁ יְרִיעָן לְחוֹד וְיָת שֵׁית יְרִיעָן לְחוֹד׃
And he joined together five drapes by themselves, and six drapes by themselves.

וַיַּעַשׂ לֻלָאֹת חֲמִשִּׁים עַל שְׂפַת הַיְרִיעָה הַקִּיצֹנָה בַּמַּחְבָּרֶת וַחֲמִשִּׁים לֻלָאֹת עָשָׂה עַל־שְׂפַת הַיְרִיעָה הַחֹבֶרֶת הַשֵּׁנִית׃
They made fifty loops on the edge of the outermost cloth of the one set, and they made fifty loops on the edge of the end cloth of the other set.

וַיַּעַשׂ קַרְסֵי נְחֹשֶׁת חֲמִשִּׁים לְחַבֵּר אֶת־הָאֹהֶל לִהְיֹת אֶחָד׃
They made fifty copper clasps to couple the tent together so that it might become one whole.
Targum Onkelos
וַעֲבַד פּוּרְפִין דִּנְחָשׁ חַמְשִׁין לְלָפָפָא יָת מַשְׁכְּנָא לְמִהְוֵי חַד׃
He made fifty copper clasps to join the tent together making it one.
- Exodus 36:19
וַיַּעַשׂ מִכְסֶה לָאֹהֶל עֹרֹת אֵילִם מְאׇדָּמִים וּמִכְסֵה עֹרֹת תְּחָשִׁים מִלְמָעְלָה׃
And they made a covering of tanned ram skins for the tent, and a covering of dolphin skins above.
Targum Onkelos
וַעֲבַד חוּפָאָה לְמַשְׁכְּנָא דְּמַשְׁכֵּי דִּכְרֵי מְסֻמְּקֵי וְחוּפָאָה דְּמַשְׁכֵּי סָסְגוֹנָא מִלְּעֵילָא׃
He made a covering for the tent out of red dyed rams’ skins, and a covering of tachash [multicolored] skins above that.
