  1. Deuteronomy 23:25

    When you enter a fellow Israelite’s vineyard, you may eat as many grapes as you want, until you are full, but you must not put any in your vessel.

    Targum Onkelos

    When you [are hired to] enter your fellow’s vineyard, you may eat grapes as you desire, to your satisfaction; but you may not place it in your container.

  2. Deuteronomy 23:26

    When you enter a fellow Israelite’s field of standing grain, you may pluck ears with your hand; but you must not put a sickle to your neighbor’s grain.

    Targum Onkelos

    When you [are hired to] enter your fellow’s standing grainstalks, you may cut off stalks by hand, but do not lift a sickle over your fellow’s standing grainstalks.

  3. Deuteronomy 24:1

    כִּי־יִקַּח אִישׁ אִשָּׁה וּבְעָלָהּ וְהָיָה אִם־לֹא תִמְצָא־חֵן בְּעֵינָיו כִּי־מָצָא בָהּ עֶרְוַת דָּבָר וְכָתַב לָהּ סֵפֶר כְּרִיתֻת וְנָתַן בְּיָדָהּ וְשִׁלְּחָהּ מִבֵּיתוֹ׃

    A man takes a woman [into his household] and becomes her husband. She fails to please him because he finds something obnoxious about her, and he writes her a bill of divorcement, hands it to her, and sends her away from his house;

    Targum Onkelos

    אֲרֵי יִסַּב גְּבַר אִתְּתָא וְיִבְעֲלִנַּהּ וִיהֵי אִם לָא תַשְׁכַּח רַחֲמִין בְּעֵינוֹהִי אֲרֵי אַשְׁכַּח בַּהּ עֲבֵירַת פִּתְגָם וְיִכְתוֹב לַהּ גֶּט פִּטּוּרִין וְיִתֵּין בִּידַהּ וְיִפְטְרִנַּהּ מִבֵּיתֵיהּ׃

    If a man marries a woman and consummates with her; should she not find favor in his eyes because he found in her something lecherous [sinful], he is to write for her a document of severance and place [it] in her hand and send her from his home.

  4. Deuteronomy 24:2

    וְיָצְאָה מִבֵּיתוֹ וְהָלְכָה וְהָיְתָה לְאִישׁ־אַחֵר׃

    she leaves his household and becomes the wife of another man;

    Targum Onkelos

    וְתִפּוֹק מִבֵּיתֵיהּ וּתְהָךְ וּתְהֵי לִגְבַר אָחֳרָן׃

    If she leaves his home and goes and becomes [wife] to another man.

  5. Deuteronomy 24:3

    וּשְׂנֵאָהּ הָאִישׁ הָאַחֲרוֹן וְכָתַב לָהּ סֵפֶר כְּרִיתֻת וְנָתַן בְּיָדָהּ וְשִׁלְּחָהּ מִבֵּיתוֹ אוֹ כִי יָמוּת הָאִישׁ הָאַחֲרוֹן אֲשֶׁר־לְקָחָהּ לוֹ לְאִשָּׁה׃

    then this latter man rejects her, writes her a bill of divorcement, hands it to her, and sends her away from his household; or the man who married her last dies.

    Targum Onkelos

    וְיִשְׂנֵינַהּ גּוּבְרָא בָּתְרָאָה וְיִכְתּוֹב לַהּ גֶּט פִּטּוּרִין וְיִתֵּין בִּידַהּ וְיִפְטְרִנַּהּ מִבֵּיתֵיהּ אוֹ אֲרֵי יְמוּת גּוּבְרָא בָּתְרָאָה דְּנַסְבַּהּ לֵיהּ לְאִתּוּ׃

    If her last husband hates her and writes for her a document of severance and places [it] in her hand and sends her from his house, or if the latter man dies, who had taken her as his wife;

  6. Deuteronomy 24:4

    Then the first husband who divorced her shall not take her to wife again, since she has been disqualified for him—for that would be abhorrent to GOD. You must not bring sin upon the land that the ETERNAL your God is giving you as a heritage.

    Targum Onkelos

    Her first husband who divorced her may not [has no permission to] remarry her to be his wife after her having been defiled, for it is an abomination before Adonoy; and you are not to make liable the land that Adonoy, your God, is giving you as territory.
