    וּלְלֵוִי אָמַר תֻּמֶּיךָ וְאוּרֶיךָ לְאִישׁ חֲסִידֶךָ אֲשֶׁר נִסִּיתוֹ בְּמַסָּה תְּרִיבֵהוּ עַל־מֵי מְרִיבָה׃

    And of Levi he said: Let Your Thummim and Urim Be with Your faithful one, Whom You tested at Massah, Challenged at the Waters of Meribah;

    Targum Onkelos

    וּלְלֵוִי אֲמַר תּוּמַּיָּא וְאוּרַיָּא אַלְבֵּישְׁתָּא לִגְבַר דְּאִשְׁתְּכַח חַסִּיד קֳדָמָךְ דְּנַסִּיתָהִי בְּנִסֵּיתָא וַהֲוָה שְׁלִים בְּחַנְתָּהִי עַל מֵי מַצּוּתָא וְאִשְׁתְּכַח מְהֵימָן׃

    And regarding Levi he said, ‘‘Your tumim and Your urim [You have clothed] to Your pious man [the man who was found to be pious before You]; whom You tried with tests [and was found whole (worthy)], You brought him strife at the waters of Merivah [and was found faithful].

  2. Deuteronomy 33:9

    Who said of his father and mother, “I consider them not.” His brothers he disregarded, Ignored his own children. Your precepts alone they observed, And kept Your covenant.

    Targum Onkelos

    He who said of his father and his mother, ‘I did not see them,‘ and his brothers he did not recognize and his sons he did not know; for they observed Your command and kept Your covenant. [On his father and his mother he showed no mercy if they were (found) guilty by law, nor did he "“recognize” his brothers or children, for they guarded the charge of Your word and did not alter Your covenant.]

  3. Deuteronomy 33:10

    יוֹרוּ מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ לְיַעֲקֹב וְתוֹרָתְךָ לְיִשְׂרָאֵל יָשִׂימוּ קְטוֹרָה בְּאַפֶּךָ וְכָלִיל עַל־מִזְבְּחֶךָ׃

    They shall teach Your laws to Jacob And Your instructions to Israel. They shall offer You incense to savor And whole-offerings on Your altar.

    Targum Onkelos

    כָּשְׁרִין אִלֵּין דְּיַלְּפוּן דִּינָךְ לְיַעֲקֹב וְאוֹרָיְתָךְ לְיִשְׂרָאֵל יְשַׁוּוֹן קְטֹרֶת בּוּסְמִין קֳדָמָךְ וּגְמִיר לְרַעֲוָא עַל מַדְבְּחָךְ׃

    They shall [are worthy to] teach Your law to Yaakov and Your Torah to Yisroel; let them place [fragrant] incense before You and totally consumed offerings on Your altar [willingly];

  4. Deuteronomy 33:11

    Bless, O ETERNAL One, his substance, And favor his undertakings. Smite the loins of his foes; Let his enemies rise no more.

    Targum Onkelos

    Adonoy, bless his wealth and accept his handiwork [the offerings of his hand accept willingly]; shatter his adversaries at the loins and his enemies, so that they may not arise.’’

  5. Deuteronomy 33:12

    Of Benjamin he said: Beloved of GOD, He rests securely close by, Ever protected, As he rests between God’s shoulders.

    Targum Onkelos

    Regarding Binyomin he said, ‘‘Adonoy’s friend, let him live secure with Him; He hovers protectively [a shield] over him throughout the day, and He resides between his shoulders [and in his land the Shechinah will dwell].’’
