- Exodus 26:15
וְעָשִׂיתָ אֶת־הַקְּרָשִׁים לַמִּשְׁכָּן עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים עֹמְדִים׃
You shall make the planks for the Tabernacle of acacia wood, upright.
Targum Onkelos
וְתַעֲבֵיד יָת דַּפַּיָּא לְמַשְׁכְּנָא דְּאָעֵי שִׁטִּין קָיְמִין׃
Make the planks for the mishkon out of acacia wood; [these planks are] to stand upright [vertically].
- Exodus 26:16
עֶשֶׂר אַמּוֹת אֹרֶךְ הַקָּרֶשׁ וְאַמָּה וַחֲצִי הָאַמָּה רֹחַב הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד׃
The length of each plank shall be ten cubits and the width of each plank a cubit and a half.
Targum Onkelos
עֲשַׂר אַמִּין אוּרְכָּא דְּדַפָּא וְאַמְּתָא וּפַלְגוּת אַמְּתָא פוּתְיָא דְּדַפָּא חַד׃
Each plank shall be ten amohs long, and one and one half amohs shall be the width of each plank.
- Exodus 26:17
שְׁתֵּי יָדוֹת לַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד מְשֻׁלָּבֹת אִשָּׁה אֶל־אֲחֹתָהּ כֵּן תַּעֲשֶׂה לְכֹל קַרְשֵׁי הַמִּשְׁכָּן׃
Each plank shall have two tenons, parallel to each other; do the same with all the planks of the Tabernacle.
Targum Onkelos
תְּרֵין צִירִין לְדַפָּא חַד מְשׁוּלְּבִין חַד לָקֳבֵיל חַד כֵּן תַּעֲבֵיד לְכֹל דַּפֵּי מַשְׁכְּנָא׃
Each plank shall have two [square] pegs, exactly parallel to each other. So shall you make all the planks of the mishkon.
- Exodus 26:18
וְעָשִׂיתָ אֶת־הַקְּרָשִׁים לַמִּשְׁכָּן עֶשְׂרִים קֶרֶשׁ לִפְאַת נֶגְבָּה תֵימָנָה׃
Of the planks of the Tabernacle, make twenty planks on the south side:
Targum Onkelos
וְתַעֲבֵיד יָת דַּפַּיָּא לְמַשְׁכְּנָא עֶשְׂרִין דַּפִּין לְרוּחַ עֵיבַר דָּרוֹמָא׃
Make these planks for the mishkon, twenty planks for the southern side.
- Exodus 26:19
וְאַרְבָּעִים אַדְנֵי־כֶסֶף תַּעֲשֶׂה תַּחַת עֶשְׂרִים הַקָּרֶשׁ שְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת־הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד לִשְׁתֵּי יְדֹתָיו וּשְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת־הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד לִשְׁתֵּי יְדֹתָיו׃
making forty silver sockets under the twenty planks, two sockets under the one plank for its two tenons and two sockets under each following plank for its two tenons;
Targum Onkelos
וְאַרְבְּעִין סָמְכִין דִּכְסַף תַּעֲבֵיד תְּחוֹת עֶשְׂרִין דַּפִּין תְּרֵין סָמְכִין תְּחוֹת דַּפָּא חַד לִתְרֵין צִירוֹהִי וּתְרֵין סָמְכִין תְּחוֹת דַּפָּא חַד לִתְרֵין צִירוֹהִי׃
Make forty silver sockets, [and place them] under the twenty planks. There shall be two sockets under one plank [one] for each of the two pegs, and two sockets under the other plank, [one] for each of the two pegs.
- Exodus 26:20
וּלְצֶלַע הַמִּשְׁכָּן הַשֵּׁנִית לִפְאַת צָפוֹן עֶשְׂרִים קָרֶשׁ׃
and for the other side wall of the Tabernacle, on the north side, twenty planks,
Targum Onkelos
וְלִסְטַר מַשְׁכְּנָא תִּנְיָנָא לְרוּחַ צִפּוּנָא עֶשְׂרִין דַּפִּין׃
For the second wall of the mishkon, to the northern side, [also make] twenty planks.
- Exodus 26:21
וְאַרְבָּעִים אַדְנֵיהֶם כָּסֶף שְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד וּשְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד׃
with their forty silver sockets, two sockets under the one plank and two sockets under each following plank.
Targum Onkelos
וְאַרְבְּעִין סָמְכֵיהוֹן דִּכְסַף תְּרֵין סָמְכִין תְּחוֹת דַּפָּא חַד וּתְרֵין סָמְכִין תְּחוֹת דַּפָּא חַד׃
[Make] their forty silver sockets, two sockets under each plank, two sockets under each plank.
- Exodus 26:22
וּלְיַרְכְּתֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן יָמָּה תַּעֲשֶׂה שִׁשָּׁה קְרָשִׁים׃
And for the rear of the Tabernacle, to the west, make six planks;
Targum Onkelos
וְלִסְיָפֵי מַשְׁכְּנָא מַעְרְבָא תַּעֲבֵיד שִׁתָּא דַּפִּין׃
For the west end of the mishkon make six planks.
- Exodus 26:23
וּשְׁנֵי קְרָשִׁים תַּעֲשֶׂה לִמְקֻצְעֹת הַמִּשְׁכָּן בַּיַּרְכָתָיִם׃
and make two planks for the corners of the Tabernacle at the rear.
Targum Onkelos
וּתְרֵין דַּפִּין תַּעֲבֵיד לְזָוְיָת מַשְׁכְּנָא בְּסוֹפְהוֹן׃
Make two planks for the corners of the mishkon at the rear side [their ends].
- Exodus 26:24
וְיִהְיוּ תֹאֲמִם מִלְּמַטָּה וְיַחְדָּו יִהְיוּ תַמִּים עַל־רֹאשׁוֹ אֶל־הַטַּבַּעַת הָאֶחָת כֵּן יִהְיֶה לִשְׁנֵיהֶם לִשְׁנֵי הַמִּקְצֹעֹת יִהְיוּ׃
They shall match at the bottom, and terminate alike at the top inside one ring; thus shall it be with both of them: they shall form the two corners.
Targum Onkelos
וִיהוֹן מַכְוְנִין מִלְּרַע וְכַחְדָּא יְהוֹן מַכְוְנִין עַל רֵישֵׁיהוֹן בְּעִזְקְתָא חֲדָא כֵּן יְהֵי לְתַרְוֵיהוֹן לְתַרְתֵּין זָוְיָין יְהוֹן׃
They must be coupled together on the bottom, and they must also be coupled together evenly on the top with one [square] ring. So must it be done with the two [planks], which are at the two corners.
- Exodus 26:25
וְהָיוּ שְׁמֹנָה קְרָשִׁים וְאַדְנֵיהֶם כֶּסֶף שִׁשָּׁה עָשָׂר אֲדָנִים שְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד וּשְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד׃
Thus there shall be eight planks with their sockets of silver: sixteen sockets, two sockets under the first plank, and two sockets under each of the other planks.
Targum Onkelos
וִיהוֹן תְּמָנְיָא דַּפִּין וְסָמְכֵיהוֹן דִּכְסַף שִׁתַּת עֲשַׂר סָמְכִין תְּרֵין סָמְכִין תְּחוֹת דַּפָּא חַד וּתְרֵין סָמְכִין תְּחוֹת דַּפָּא חַד׃
Thus there will be eight planks, and their silver sockets, totaling sixteen sockets, two sockets under each plank, two sockets under each plank.
- Exodus 26:26
וְעָשִׂיתָ בְרִיחִם עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים חֲמִשָּׁה לְקַרְשֵׁי צֶלַע־הַמִּשְׁכָּן הָאֶחָד׃
You shall make bars of acacia wood: five for the planks of the one side wall of the Tabernacle,
Targum Onkelos
וְתַעֲבֵיד עָבְרֵי דְּאָעֵי שִׁטִּין חַמְשָׁא לְדַפֵּי סְטַר מַשְׁכְּנָא חַד׃
You shall make bars out of acacia wood, five for the planks of one wall,
- Exodus 26:27
וַחֲמִשָּׁה בְרִיחִם לְקַרְשֵׁי צֶלַע־הַמִּשְׁכָּן הַשֵּׁנִית וַחֲמִשָּׁה בְרִיחִם לְקַרְשֵׁי צֶלַע הַמִּשְׁכָּן לַיַּרְכָתַיִם יָמָּה׃
five bars for the planks of the other side wall of the Tabernacle, and five bars for the planks of the wall of the Tabernacle at the rear to the west.
Targum Onkelos
וְחַמְשָׁא עָבְרִין לְדַפֵּי סְטַר מַשְׁכְּנָא תִּנְיָנָא וְחַמְשָׁא עָבְרִין לְדַפֵּי סְטַר מַשְׁכְּנָא לְסוֹפְהוֹן מַעְרְבָא׃
and five bars for the planks of the second wall of the mishkon. [There shall also be] five bars for the planks of the western [back] wall of the mishkon.
- Exodus 26:28
וְהַבְּרִיחַ הַתִּיכֹן בְּתוֹךְ הַקְּרָשִׁים מַבְרִחַ מִן־הַקָּצֶה אֶל־הַקָּצֶה׃
The center bar halfway up the planks shall run from end to end.
Targum Onkelos
וְעָבְרָא מְצִיעָאָה בְּגוֹ דַּפַּיָּא מַעְבַּר מִן סְיָפֵי לִסְיָפֵי׃
The middle [center] bar shall go through the planks, reinforcing the planks from one end to the other.
- Exodus 26:29
וְאֶת־הַקְּרָשִׁים תְּצַפֶּה זָהָב וְאֶת־טַבְּעֹתֵיהֶם תַּעֲשֶׂה זָהָב בָּתִּים לַבְּרִיחִם וְצִפִּיתָ אֶת־הַבְּרִיחִם זָהָב׃
Overlay the planks with gold, and make their rings of gold, as holders for the bars; and overlay the bars with gold.
Targum Onkelos
וְיָת דַּפַּיָּא תִּחְפֵי דַּהְבָּא וְיָת עִזְקָתְהוֹן תַּעֲבֵיד דַּהְבָּא אַתְרָא לְעָבְרַיָּא וְתִחְפֵי יָת עָבְרַיָּא דַּהְבָּא׃
You shall overlay the planks with gold, and make their rings out of gold, to hold the bars. You shall [also] overlay the bars with gold.
- Exodus 26:30
וַהֲקֵמֹתָ אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּן כְּמִשְׁפָּטוֹ אֲשֶׁר הׇרְאֵיתָ בָּהָר׃
Then set up the Tabernacle according to the manner of it that you were shown on the mountain.
Targum Onkelos
וּתְקִים יָת מַשְׁכְּנָא כְּהִלְכְּתֵיהּ דְּאִתַּחְזִיתָא בְּטוּרָא׃
You shall erect the mishkon according to its rules. As shown to you on the mountain.
