- Exodus 23:20
הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי שֹׁלֵחַ מַלְאָךְ לְפָנֶיךָ לִשְׁמׇרְךָ בַּדָּרֶךְ וְלַהֲבִיאֲךָ אֶל־הַמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר הֲכִנֹתִי׃
I am sending an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have made ready.
Targum Onkelos
הָא אֲנָא שָׁלַח מַלְאֲכָא קֳדָמָךְ לְמִטְּרָךְ בְּאוֹרְחָא וּלְאַעָלוּתָךְ לְאַתְרָא דְּאַתְקֵינִית׃
Behold, I will send an angel before you, to guard you on the way, and to bring you to the place that I have prepared.

הִשָּׁמֶר מִפָּנָיו וּשְׁמַע בְּקֹלוֹ אַל־תַּמֵּר בּוֹ כִּי לֹא יִשָּׂא לְפִשְׁעֲכֶם כִּי שְׁמִי בְּקִרְבּוֹ׃
Pay heed to him and obey him. Do not defy him, for he will not pardon your offenses, since My Name is in him;
Targum Onkelos
אִסְתְּמַר מִן קֳדָמוֹהִי וְקַבֵּיל לְמֵימְרֵיהּ לָא תְסָרֵיב לְקִבְלֵיהּ אֲרֵי לָא יִשְׁבּוֹק לְחוֹבֵיכוֹן אֲרֵי בִּשְׁמִי מֵימְרֵיהּ׃
Be careful in his presence and heed [obey] his voice [word]. Do not rebel against him; for he cannot bear [pardon] your transgression, as [in] My Name is in him [his word].

כִּי אִם־שָׁמוֹעַ תִּשְׁמַע בְּקֹלוֹ וְעָשִׂיתָ כֹּל אֲשֶׁר אֲדַבֵּר וְאָיַבְתִּי אֶת־אֹיְבֶיךָ וְצַרְתִּי אֶת־צֹרְרֶיךָ׃
but if you obey him and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and a foe to your foes.
Targum Onkelos
אֲרֵי אִם קַבָּלָא תְקַבֵּיל לְמֵימְרֵיהּ וְתַעֲבֵיד כֹּל דַּאֲמַלֵּיל וְאֶסְנֵי יָת סָנְאָךְ וְאַעֵיק לְדִמְעִיקִין לָךְ׃
But if you truly listen to [obey] his voice [word], and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and attack those who attack you.

כִּי־יֵלֵךְ מַלְאָכִי לְפָנֶיךָ וֶהֱבִיאֲךָ אֶל־הָאֱמֹרִי וְהַחִתִּי וְהַפְּרִזִּי וְהַכְּנַעֲנִי הַחִוִּי וְהַיְבוּסִי וְהִכְחַדְתִּיו׃
When My angel goes before you and brings you to the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, and I annihilate them,
Targum Onkelos
אֲרֵי יְהָךְ מַלְאֲכִי קֳדָמָךְ וְיַעֵילִנָּךְ לְוָת אֱמוֹרָאֵי וְחִתָּאֵי וּפְרִזָּאֵי וּכְנַעֲנָאֵי חִוָּאֵי וִיבוּסָאֵי וַאֲשֵׁיצֵינוּן׃
My messenger will go before you, and will bring you into [the land of] the Emorites, the Chittites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, Chivites, and the Yevusites, and I will then annihilate them.

לֹא־תִשְׁתַּחֲוֶה לֵאלֹהֵיהֶם וְלֹא תׇעׇבְדֵם וְלֹא תַעֲשֶׂה כְּמַעֲשֵׂיהֶם כִּי הָרֵס תְּהָרְסֵם וְשַׁבֵּר תְּשַׁבֵּר מַצֵּבֹתֵיהֶם׃
you shall not bow down to their gods in worship or follow their practices, but shall tear them down and smash their pillars to bits.
Targum Onkelos
לָא תִסְגּוֹד לְטָעֲוָתְהוֹן וְלָא תִפְלְחִנִּין וְלָא תַעֲבֵיד כְּעוּבָדֵיהוֹן אֲרֵי פַגָּרָא תְפַגְּרִנּוּן וְתַבָּרָא תְּתַבַּר קָמָתְהוֹן׃
You must not prostrate yourself to their [false] gods, nor serve [sacrifice to] them. You must not adopt their customs. You must totally destroy [their idols] and completely break down their monuments.
- Exodus 23:25
וַעֲבַדְתֶּם אֵת יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם וּבֵרַךְ אֶת־לַחְמְךָ וְאֶת־מֵימֶיךָ וַהֲסִרֹתִי מַחֲלָה מִקִּרְבֶּךָ׃
You shall serve the ETERNAL your God, who will bless your bread and your water. And I will remove sickness from your midst.
Targum Onkelos
וְתִפְלְחוּן קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהֲכוֹן וִיבָרֵיךְ יָת מֵיכְלָךְ וְיָת מִשְׁתָּךְ וְאַעְדֵּי מַרְעִין בִּישִׁין מִבֵּינָךְ׃
You must serve [before] Adonoy, your God, and He will bless your bread [food] and your water [drink]. I will eliminate [bad] sickness from your midst.
