זֹאת הַתּוֹרָה לְכׇל־נֶגַע הַצָּרַעַת וְלַנָּתֶק׃
Such is the ritual for every eruptive affection—for scalls,
Targum Onkelos
דָּא אוֹרָיְתָא לְכָל מַכְתָּשׁ סְגִירוּתָא וּלְנִתְקָא׃
This is the law for all the eruptions of tzoraas [’confinement’] and for the nesek.
- Leviticus 14:55
וּלְצָרַעַת הַבֶּגֶד וְלַבָּיִת׃
for an eruption on a cloth or a house,

וְלִסְגִירוּת לְבוּשָׁא וּלְבֵיתָא׃
For tzoraas [’confinement’] of the garment and of the house.

וְלַשְׂאֵת וְלַסַּפַּחַת וְלַבֶּהָרֶת׃
for swellings, for rashes, or for discolorations—
Targum Onkelos
וּלְעָמְקָא וּלְעַדְיָא וּלְבַהֲרָא׃
For the spot [deeply] white as wool, for the spot that is nearly as white and for the spot white as snow.

לְהוֹרֹת בְּיוֹם הַטָּמֵא וּבְיוֹם הַטָּהֹר זֹאת תּוֹרַת הַצָּרָעַת׃
to determine when they are impure and when they are pure. Such is the ritual concerning eruptions.
Targum Onkelos
לְאַלָּפָא בְּיוֹם מְסָאֲבָא וּבְיוֹם דָּכְיָא דָּא אוֹרָיְתָא דִּסְגִירוּתָא׃
To teach [the law] of the day of becoming impure and of the day of becoming pure; this is the law of tzoraas [’confinement’].

וַיְדַבֵּר יְהֹוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה וְאֶל־אַהֲרֹן לֵאמֹר׃
GOD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:

וּמַלֵּיל יְיָ עִם מֹשֶׁה וּלְאַהֲרֹן לְמֵימַר׃
Adonoy spoke to Moshe and to Aharon, saying:
- Leviticus 15:2
דַּבְּרוּ אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַאֲמַרְתֶּם אֲלֵהֶם אִישׁ אִישׁ כִּי יִהְיֶה זָב מִבְּשָׂרוֹ זוֹבוֹ טָמֵא הוּא׃
Speak to the Israelite people and say to them: When any man at all has a discharge issuing from his member, he is impure.
Targum Onkelos
מַלִּילוּ עִם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְתֵימְרוּן לְהוֹן גְּבַר גְּבַר אֲרֵי יְהֵי דָאֵיב מִבִּשְׂרֵיהּ דּוֹבֵיהּ מְסָאַב הוּא׃
Speak to Bnei Yisroel and say to them; should [discharge] flow from the body of any man, [because of] his discharge, he is impure.
- Leviticus 15:3
וְזֹאת תִּהְיֶה טֻמְאָתוֹ בְּזוֹבוֹ רָר בְּשָׂרוֹ אֶת־זוֹבוֹ אוֹ־הֶחְתִּים בְּשָׂרוֹ מִזּוֹבוֹ טֻמְאָתוֹ הִוא׃
The impurity from his discharge shall mean the following—whether his member runs with the discharge or is stopped up so that there is no discharge, his impurity means this:
Targum Onkelos
וְדָא תְּהֵי סְאוֹבְתֵיהּ בְּדוֹבֵיהּ רִיר בִּסְרֵיהּ יָת דּוֹבֵיהּ אוֹ חֲתִים בִּסְרֵיהּ מִדּוֹבֵיהּ סְאוֹבְתֵיהּ הִיא׃
This is the law of his impurity, when his discharge flows; His flesh drips [with] his discharge or his flesh is stopped up by his discharge, it causes him to become impure.
- Leviticus 15:4
כׇּל־הַמִּשְׁכָּב אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב עָלָיו הַזָּב יִטְמָא וְכׇל־הַכְּלִי אֲשֶׁר־יֵשֵׁב עָלָיו יִטְמָא׃
Any bedding on which the one with the discharge lies shall be impure, and every object on which he sits shall be impure.
Targum Onkelos
כָּל מִשְׁכְּבָא דְּיִשְׁכּוֹב עֲלוֹהִי דּוֹבָנָא יְהֵי מְסָאַב וְכָל מָאנָא דְּיִתֵּיב עֲלוֹהִי יְהֵי מְסָאַב׃
Every bed [Anything that is used specifically for sleeping], upon which will lie a zov [a person from whom a discharge flows,] shall become impure. Every vessel upon which he sits, shall become impure.

וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִגַּע בְּמִשְׁכָּבוֹ יְכַבֵּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם וְטָמֵא עַד־הָעָרֶב׃
Anyone who touches his bedding shall wash their clothes, bathe in water, and remain impure until evening.
Targum Onkelos
וּגְבַר דְּיִקְרַב בְּמִשְׁכְּבֵיהּ יְצַבַּע לְבוּשׁוֹהִי וְיַסְחֵי בְמַיָּא וִיהֵי מְסָאַב עַד רַמְשָׁא׃
A person who touches his bed shall wash his garments and bathe in water and is impure until the evening.
- Leviticus 15:6
וְהַיֹּשֵׁב עַל־הַכְּלִי אֲשֶׁר־יֵשֵׁב עָלָיו הַזָּב יְכַבֵּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם וְטָמֵא עַד־הָעָרֶב׃
Whoever sits on an object on which the one with the discharge has sat shall wash their clothes, bathe in water, and remain impure until evening.
Targum Onkelos
וּדְיִתֵּיב עַל מָאנָא דְּיִתֵּיב עֲלוֹהִי דּוֹבָנָא יְצַבַּע לְבוּשׁוֹהִי וְיַסְחֵי בְמַיָּא וִיהֵי מְסָאַב עַד רַמְשָׁא׃
Whoever sits on the vessel that was sat upon by a zov shall wash his garments and bathe in water and is impure until the evening.
- Leviticus 15:7
וְהַנֹּגֵעַ בִּבְשַׂר הַזָּב יְכַבֵּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם וְטָמֵא עַד־הָעָרֶב׃
Whoever touches the body of the one with the discharge shall wash their clothes, bathe in water, and remain impure until evening.
Targum Onkelos
וּדְיִקְרַב בִּבְשַׂר דּוֹבָנָא יְצַבַּע לְבוּשׁוֹהִי וְיַסְחֵי בְמַיָּא וִיהֵי מְסָאַב עַד רַמְשָׁא׃
Whoever touches the flesh of a zov shall wash his garments and bathe in water and is impure until the evening.
- Leviticus 15:8
וְכִי־יָרֹק הַזָּב בַּטָּהוֹר וְכִבֶּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם וְטָמֵא עַד־הָעָרֶב׃
If the one with a discharge spits on someone who is pure, the latter shall wash their clothes, bathe in water, and remain impure until evening.
Targum Onkelos
וַאֲרֵי יִרּוֹק דּוֹבָנָא בְדָכְיָא וִיצַבַּע לְבוּשׁוֹהִי וְיַסְחֵי בְמַיָּא וִיהֵי מְסָאַב עַד רַמְשָׁא׃
If the zov spits on a ritually clean person, he shall wash his garments and bathe in water and is impure until the evening.
- Leviticus 15:9
וְכׇל־הַמֶּרְכָּב אֲשֶׁר יִרְכַּב עָלָיו הַזָּב יִטְמָא׃
Any means for riding that the one with a discharge has mounted shall be impure;
Targum Onkelos
וְכָל מֶרְכְּבָא דְּיִרְכוֹב עֲלוֹהִי דּוֹבָנָא יְהֵי מְסָאַב׃
Anything that is used for riding upon which a zov will ride shall become impure.

וְכׇל־הַנֹּגֵעַ בְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר יִהְיֶה תַחְתָּיו יִטְמָא עַד־הָעָרֶב וְהַנּוֹשֵׂא אוֹתָם יְכַבֵּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם וְטָמֵא עַד־הָעָרֶב׃
whoever touches anything that was under him shall be impure until evening; and whoever carries such things shall wash their clothes, bathe in water, and remain impure until evening.
Targum Onkelos
וְכָל דְּיִקְרַב בְּכֹל דִּיהֵי תְּחוֹתוֹהִי יְהֵי מְסָאַב עַד רַמְשָׁא וּדְיִטּוֹל יָתְהוֹן יְצַבַּע לְבוּשׁוֹהִי וְיַסְחֵי בְמַיָּא וִיהֵי מְסָאַב עַד רַמְשָׁא׃
Anyone who touches anything which is beneath him shall be impure until the evening. and whoever carries them shall wash his garments and bathe in water and is impure until the evening.
- Leviticus 15:11
וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר יִגַּע־בּוֹ הַזָּב וְיָדָיו לֹא־שָׁטַף בַּמָּיִם וְכִבֶּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם וְטָמֵא עַד־הָעָרֶב׃
Whomever the one with a discharge touches, without having rinsed his hands in water, shall wash their clothes, bathe in water, and remain impure until evening.
Targum Onkelos
וְכֹל דְּיִקְרַב בֵּיהּ דּוֹבָנָא וִידוֹהִי לָא שְׁטֵיף בְּמַיָּא וִיצַבַּע לְבוּשׁוֹהִי וְיַסְחֵי בְמַיָּא וִיהֵי מְסָאַב עַד רַמְשָׁא׃
If a zov touches anyone and his hands were not rinsed in water, he shall wash his garments and bathe in water and is impure until the evening.
- Leviticus 15:12
וּכְלִי־חֶרֶשׂ אֲשֶׁר־יִגַּע־בּוֹ הַזָּב יִשָּׁבֵר וְכׇל־כְּלִי־עֵץ יִשָּׁטֵף בַּמָּיִם׃
An earthen vessel that the one with a discharge touches shall be broken; and any wooden implement shall be rinsed with water.
Targum Onkelos
וּמָאן דַּחֲסַף דְּיִקְרַב בֵּיהּ דּוֹבָנָא יִתְּבַר וְכָל מָאן דְּאָע יִשְׁתְּטֵיף בְּמַיָּא׃
An earthenware vessel which the zov will touch shall be broken. Any wooden vessel shall be rinsed in water.
- Leviticus 15:13
וְכִי־יִטְהַר הַזָּב מִזּוֹבוֹ וְסָפַר לוֹ שִׁבְעַת יָמִים לְטׇהֳרָתוֹ וְכִבֶּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בְּשָׂרוֹ בְּמַיִם חַיִּים וְטָהֵר׃
When the one with a discharge becomes purified of his discharge, he shall count off seven days for his purification, wash those clothes, and bathe in fresh water; then he shall be pure.
Targum Onkelos
וַאֲרֵי יִדְכֵּי דּוֹבָנָא מִדּוֹבֵיהּ וְיִמְנֵי לֵיהּ שִׁבְעָא יוֹמִין לִדְכוּתֵיהּ וִיצַבַּע לְבוּשׁוֹהִי וְיַסְחֵי בִּשְׂרֵיהּ בְּמֵי מַבּוּעַ וְיִדְכֵּי׃
When a zov will become ritually clean, from his discharge-impurity, he shall count for himself seven days for his purification and wash his garments, and bathe in running water, and he will be purified.
- Leviticus 15:14
וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי יִקַּח־לוֹ שְׁתֵּי תֹרִים אוֹ שְׁנֵי בְּנֵי יוֹנָה וּבָא ׀ לִפְנֵי יְהֹוָה אֶל־פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּנְתָנָם אֶל־הַכֹּהֵן׃
On the eighth day he shall take two turtledoves or two pigeons and come before GOD at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting and give them to the priest.
Targum Onkelos
וּבְיוֹמָא תְּמִינָאָה יִסַּב לֵיהּ תְּרֵין שַׁפְנִינִין אוֹ תְּרֵין בְּנֵי יוֹנָה וְיֵיתֵי לִקְדָם יְיָ לִתְרַע מַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא וְיִתֵּינִנּוּן לְכָהֲנָא׃
On the eighth day he shall take for himself two turtledoves or two young pigeons and come before Adonoy, to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting and give them to the kohein.
- Leviticus 15:15
וְעָשָׂה אֹתָם הַכֹּהֵן אֶחָד חַטָּאת וְהָאֶחָד עֹלָה וְכִפֶּר עָלָיו הַכֹּהֵן לִפְנֵי יְהֹוָה מִזּוֹבוֹ׃
The priest shall offer them, the one as a purgation offering and the other as a burnt offering. Thus the priest shall make expiation on his behalf, for his discharge, before GOD.
Targum Onkelos
וְיַעֲבֵיד יָתְהוֹן כָּהֲנָא חַד חַטָּתָא וְחַד עֲלָתָא וִיכַפַּר עֲלוֹהִי כָּהֲנָא קֳדָם יְיָ מִדּוֹבֵיהּ׃
The kohein shall do (offer) them, one as a sin-offering and the [other] one as a burnt-offering. The kohein will atone for him before Adonoy, from his discharge-impurity.
