- Leviticus 25:14
וְכִי־תִמְכְּרוּ מִמְכָּר לַעֲמִיתֶךָ אוֹ קָנֹה מִיַּד עֲמִיתֶךָ אַל־תּוֹנוּ אִישׁ אֶת־אָחִיו׃
When you sell property to your neighbor, or buy any from your neighbor, you shall not wrong one another.
Targum Onkelos
וַאֲרֵי תְזַבֵּין זְבִינִין לְחַבְרָךְ אוֹ תִזְבּוֹן מִיַּד חַבְרָךְ לָא תוֹנוֹן גְּבַר יָת אֲחוּהִי׃
If you sell anything to your neighbor, or purchase [something] from your neighbor, do not cheat one another.
- Leviticus 25:15
בְּמִסְפַּר שָׁנִים אַחַר הַיּוֹבֵל תִּקְנֶה מֵאֵת עֲמִיתֶךָ בְּמִסְפַּר שְׁנֵי־תְבוּאֹת יִמְכׇּר־לָךְ׃
In buying from your neighbor, you shall deduct only for the number of years since the jubilee; and in selling to you, you shall be charged only for the remaining crop years:
Targum Onkelos
בְּמִנְיַן שְׁנַיָּא בָּתַר יוֹבֵילָא תִּזְבּוֹן מִן חַבְרָךְ בְּמִנְיַן שְׁנֵי עֲלַלְתָּא יְזַבֵּין לָךְ׃
According to the number of years after the jubilee you shall purchase [land] from your neighbor; according to the number of produce years he shall sell it to you.
- Leviticus 25:16
לְפִי ׀ רֹב הַשָּׁנִים תַּרְבֶּה מִקְנָתוֹ וּלְפִי מְעֹט הַשָּׁנִים תַּמְעִיט מִקְנָתוֹ כִּי מִסְפַּר תְּבוּאֹת הוּא מֹכֵר לָךְ׃
the more such years, the higher the price you pay; the fewer such years, the lower the price; for what is being sold to you is a number of harvests.
Targum Onkelos
לְפוֹם סַגְיוּת שְׁנַיָּא תַּסְגֵּי זְבִינוֹהִי וּלְפוֹם זְעֵירוּת שְׁנַיָּא תַּזְעַר זְבִינוֹהִי אֲרֵי מִנְיַן עֲלַלְתָּא הוּא מְזַבֵּין לָךְ׃
Based on the abundance of years, you shall increase its purchase price and based on the lack of years you shall decrease its purchase price, since it is the number of produce-seasons that he is selling to you.
- Leviticus 25:17
וְלֹא תוֹנוּ אִישׁ אֶת־עֲמִיתוֹ וְיָרֵאתָ מֵאֱלֹהֶיךָ כִּי אֲנִי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם׃
Do not wrong one another, but fear your God; for I the ETERNAL am your God.
Targum Onkelos
וְלָא תּוֹנוֹן גְּבַר יָת חַבְרֵיהּ וְתִדְחַל מֵאֱלָהָךְ אֲרֵי אֲנָא יְיָ אֱלָהֲכוֹן׃
You shall not cheat one another, and you shall fear your God for I am Adonoy, your God.
- Leviticus 25:18
וַעֲשִׂיתֶם אֶת־חֻקֹּתַי וְאֶת־מִשְׁפָּטַי תִּשְׁמְרוּ וַעֲשִׂיתֶם אֹתָם וִישַׁבְתֶּם עַל־הָאָרֶץ לָבֶטַח׃
You shall observe My laws and faithfully keep My rules, that you may live upon the land in security;
Targum Onkelos
וְתַעְבְּדוּן יָת קְיָמַי וְיָת דִּינַי תִּטְּרוּן וְתַעְבְּדוּן יָתְהוֹן וְתִתְּבוּן עַל אַרְעָא לְרֻחְצָן׃
You shall fulfill My statutes and keep My laws and fulfill them, and you will then live in the land in security.
