  1. Deuteronomy 19:14

    You shall not move your neighbor’s landmarks, set up by previous generations, in the property that will be allotted to you in the land that the ETERNAL your God is giving you to possess.

    Targum Onkelos

    Do not move back the boundary of your neighbor that the first [settlers] determine [bounded] in your territory that you will inherit in the land that Adonoy, your God, is giving you to inherit.

  2. Deuteronomy 19:15

    A single witness may not validate against another party any guilt or blame for any offense that may be committed; a case can be valid only on the testimony of two witnesses or more.

    Targum Onkelos

    One witness may not arise against a man about any sin or for any transgression or transgression that he transgresses; by the word of two witnesses or by the word of three witnesses let a matter be established.

  3. Deuteronomy 19:16

    כִּי־יָקוּם עֵד־חָמָס בְּאִישׁ לַעֲנוֹת בּוֹ סָרָה׃

    If someone appears against another party to testify maliciously and gives incriminating yet false testimony,

    Targum Onkelos

    אֲרֵי יְקוּם סָהִיד שְׁקַר בִּגְבַר לְאַסְהָדָא בֵיהּ סָטְיָא׃

    If false witnesses arise against a man and bear fallacious testimony [with perversity] against him;

  4. Deuteronomy 19:17

    the two parties to the dispute shall appear before GOD, before the priests or magistrates in authority at the time,

    Targum Onkelos

    וִיקוּמוּן תְּרֵין גּוּבְרַיָּא דִּילְהוֹן דִּינָא קֳדָם יְיָ קֳדָם כָּהֲנַיָּא וְדַיָּנַיָּא דִּיהוֹן בְּיוֹמַיָּא הָאִנּוּן׃

    and the magistrates shall make a thorough investigation. If the one who testified is a false witness, having testified falsely against a fellow Israelite,

    Targum Onkelos

    וְיִתְבְּעוּן דַּיָּנַיָּא יָאוּת וְהָא סָהִיד שִׁקְרָא סָהֲדָא שִׁקְרָא אַסְהֵיד בַּאֲחוּהִי׃

    When the judges shall investigate thoroughly and behold, the witness testified falsely, they testified falsely against their brother;

  6. Deuteronomy 19:19

    וַעֲשִׂיתֶם לוֹ כַּאֲשֶׁר זָמַם לַעֲשׂוֹת לְאָחִיו וּבִעַרְתָּ הָרָע מִקִּרְבֶּךָ׃

    you shall do to the one as the one schemed to do to the other. Thus you will sweep out evil from your midst;

    Targum Onkelos

    וְתַעְבְּדוּן לֵיהּ כְּמָא דְּחַשֵּׁיב לְמֶעֱבַד לַאֲחוּהִי וּתְפַלֵּי עָבֵיד דְּבִישׁ מִבֵּינָךְ׃

  7. Deuteronomy 19:20

    others will hear and be afraid, and such evil things will not again be done in your midst.

    Targum Onkelos

    Nor must you show pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

    Targum Onkelos

    When you go to [wage] war against your enemy, and you see horse and chariot, people who outnumber you; do not be afraid of them, for [the word of] Adonoy, your God, is with you [will aid you], He Who brought you up from the land of Egypt.
