Remove male and female alike; put them outside the camp so that they do not defile the camp of those in whose midst I dwell.

    Targum Onkelos

Whether male or female you shall send them out. Beyond the camp you shall send them, and they shall not defile their camps in which I dwell [My Shechina dwells] among them.

  4. Numbers 5:4

The Israelites did so, putting them outside the camp; as GOD had spoken to Moses, so the Israelites did.

    Targum Onkelos

Bnei Yisroel did so, and they sent them beyond the camp; just as Adonoy spoke to Moshe, so did Bnei Yisroel do.

    Adonoy spoke to Moshe, saying;

  6. Numbers 5:6

Speak to the Israelites: When a man or woman has committed any wrong toward a fellow human being, thus breaking faith with GOD, and they have realized their guilt,

    Targum Onkelos

Speak to Bnei Yisroel: When a man or a woman commits any of the sins against man, acting treacherously [untruthfully before] against Adonoy, and that person is guilty.

  7. Numbers 5:7

    Targum Onkelos

If that party [is deceased and] has no kin to whom restitution can be made, the amount repaid shall go to GOD for the priest—in addition to the ram of expiation with which expiation is made on their behalf.

    Targum Onkelos

But if the man has no redeemer (relative) to whom the debt may be returned, the debt being returned then belongs to Adonoy, [then] to the kohein. This is besides the ram of forgiveness with which he [his sin] will be atoned.

So, too, any gift among the sacred donations that the Israelites offer shall be the priest’s.

    Targum Onkelos

And each shall retain his sacred donations: each priest shall keep what is given to him.

    Targum Onkelos

A [tenth of] man’s sacred objects shall be his; whatever a man gives to the kohein, shall be his.
