- Leviticus 26:6
וְנָתַתִּי שָׁלוֹם בָּאָרֶץ וּשְׁכַבְתֶּם וְאֵין מַחֲרִיד וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי חַיָּה רָעָה מִן־הָאָרֶץ וְחֶרֶב לֹא־תַעֲבֹר בְּאַרְצְכֶם׃
I will grant peace in the land, and you shall lie down untroubled by anyone; I will give the land respite from vicious beasts, and no sword shall cross your land.
Targum Onkelos
וְאֶתֵּין שְׁלָמָא בְּאַרְעָא וְתִשְׁרוֹן וְלֵית דְּמַנִּיד וַאֲבַטֵּיל חַיְתָא בִּשְׁתָּא מִן אַרְעָא וּדְקָטְלִין בְּחַרְבָּא לָא יִעְדּוֹן בַּאֲרַעְכוֹן׃
I will grant peace in the land; you will lie down (sleep) [rest] without disturbance (fear). I will banish [nullify] evil beasts from the land, and no [people who kill with a] sword shall pass through your land.
- Leviticus 26:7
וּרְדַפְתֶּם אֶת־אֹיְבֵיכֶם וְנָפְלוּ לִפְנֵיכֶם לֶחָרֶב׃
You shall give chase to your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
Targum Onkelos
וְתִרְדְּפוּן יָת בַּעֲלֵי דְּבָבֵיכוֹן וְיִפְּלוּן קֳדָמֵיכוֹן לְחַרְבָּא׃
You will pursue your enemies and they will fall before you by the sword.
- Leviticus 26:8
וְרָדְפוּ מִכֶּם חֲמִשָּׁה מֵאָה וּמֵאָה מִכֶּם רְבָבָה יִרְדֹּפוּ וְנָפְלוּ אֹיְבֵיכֶם לִפְנֵיכֶם לֶחָרֶב׃
Five of you shall give chase to a hundred, and a hundred of you shall give chase to ten thousand; your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
Targum Onkelos
וְיִרְדְּפוּן מִנְּכוֹן חַמְשָׁא לִמְאָה וּמְאָה מִנְּכוֹן לְרִבּוֹתָא יְעָרְקוּן וְיִפְּלוּן בַּעֲלֵי דְּבָבֵיכוֹן קֳדָמֵיכוֹן לְחַרְבָּא׃
Five of you will pursue one hundred and one hundred of you will pursue ten thousand, and your enemies will fall before you by the sword.
- Leviticus 26:9
וּפָנִיתִי אֲלֵיכֶם וְהִפְרֵיתִי אֶתְכֶם וְהִרְבֵּיתִי אֶתְכֶם וַהֲקִימֹתִי אֶת־בְּרִיתִי אִתְּכֶם׃
I will look with favor upon you, and make you fertile and multiply you; and I will maintain My covenant with you.
Targum Onkelos
וְאֶתְפְּנֵי בְּמֵימְרִי לְאֵיטָבָא לְכוֹן וְאַפֵּישׁ יָתְכוֹן וְאַסְגֵּי יָתְכוֹן וְאַקֵּים יָת קְיָמִי עִמְּכוֹן׃
I will turn [with My Word to do good] to you and make you fruitful and multiply you, and establish My covenant with you.
